The H3 is an amazing little piece of technology. There are a lot of great features packed into the radio. You won't be disappointed. I only wish it was water-resistant but it's not a deal-breaker for me. Give them a full charge, power up, and talk away. The options to program via bluetooth, class c cable, or two-pin is a huge plus as well.

Great little radio for GMRS. I was able to use Chirp and the included USB-C cable to program it with no problem. I tested it on a nearby repeater and was able to talk to a family member that was about 30 miles away with a good signal report. I really like the ability to program in other frequencies that I can scan as well. The display is very easy to read too and you can use Alpha-Numerics to name frequencies. USB-C charging is an added bonus. The look and feel of the radio is solid.
